It's good to visit Hawaii if you're seeking power. You don't really need to live here. Just to come over for a week is enough. Switzerland is another spot like this. It's very similar. These are the two clearest spots, Switzerland and Hawaii.

The way of Zen is to become independent and strong. Don't rely on others for perceptions of life and truth. Do it individually. Go to a teacher of Zen to learn how to do that, not to get answers for individual life situations.

We are like an atomic structure. We've got a causal body that's linked together.

Things don't make you unhappy. People don't make you unhappy. You make yourself unhappy. Because you are in the cycle. You're stuck. You're stuck in time.

If you live for a very long while, you will have to watch your friends and loved ones die, your body age and lose its beauty and vigor, and your mental capacities fade.

The second stage of meditation begins when you can successfully stop thought for long periods of time. At this point you move beyond the awareness of this world.

Go through every closet in your house in every room.
