For me when I was growing up, some of the happiest times were when we went to a small island called Nantucket off Massachusetts.

"Just to have my kids be in the sun every day-picking avocados, going for a swim," she says. "Even for two years or something, and come back when they go to senior school." Just what kids want to do, pick avocados. Also: senior school?

I wouldn't say I'm a very original thinker, but if I have a good experience with something, I'll want to take it further or adapt it in some way.

I try to avoid barbecue potato chips. They're my weakness.

I try to take care of my hair because it sort of has to withstand a lot of blowdrying and ironing.

My actual beauty routine is pretty simple, I try and have a facial once in a while. I'm not a huge products girl. I have so much going on with work and kids, I just use moisturiser basically.
