Certain kinds of knowledge rob people of their sleep.

I keep to this routine every day without variation. The repetition itself becomes the important thing; it's a form of mesmerism. I mesmerize myself to reach a deeper state of mind.

But if you knew you might not be able to see it again tomorrow, everything would suddenly become special and precious, wouldn’t it?
