Remain open. There is something bigger than you know going on here.

I'm not sure where I heard it or why I believed it but when I was in my mid-twenties, a few words changed my approach to and experience of prayer. The words were these: 'Every thought you think is a prayer. Every word you speak is a prayer. Every act in which you engage is a prayer, because the Spirit of God lives in you.' Now, how awesome is that?

I had to stop traveling alone because I missed so many planes. When somebody runs up to you in the airport and begins to tell you their life story, you can't say, 'Excuse me, boo,' as they're weeping on your bosom.

What keeps us from achieving our heart's desires is not anything outside of us, it's the conflict inside.

Forgiveness is not about the other person or what they did. Forgiveness is for YOU and about YOU.

You have to meet people where they are, and sometimes you have to leave them there.
