I don't love playing new songs in a festival environment. Because when it comes to a festival a lot of people probably won't know your band really well at all so playing more familiar songs is a little more conducive in having a better show.
Jack BarakatI've always had the dream of going to New Zealand and meeting a lovely New Zealander in a bar.
Jack BarakatLife's too awesome to waste your time thinking about someone who doesn't treat you right.
Jack BarakatThe recording process [ for 'Dirty Work'] took longer than anticipated, because we kept going on tour in between the recording process to make sure that we were still pleasing all the fans across the world.
Jack BarakatDon't get stressed over the little things and make sure you're enjoying life to the fullest.
Jack BarakatI consider us to be one of the first Internet-based bands, especially because we basically started our entire band via the Internet. Before MySpace Music even existed, we had a band MySpace page. We were one of the first fifty bands on PureVolume(.com), and we really built everything from the Internet. That's how we started talking to record labels, that's how we booked our first tours. Without the Internet social networking, like Twitter, we definitely wouldn't be where we are today. It is a huge part of the band.
