The war on drugs is identical to the prohibition of alcohol: all you're doing is making criminals rich and powerful.

You can't legislate morality.

You have to accept the rule of law, even when it's inconvenient, if you're going to be a country that bides by the rule of law.

As governor, there isn't a lot I can do beyond that to crack down on crime. Law enforcement is really a local issue. It's the cops' job to tighten down on criminals.
