I really believe in the philosophy that you create your own universe. I'm just trying to create a good one for myself.

I'm so wrapped up in my work that it's often impossible to consider other things in my life. My marriage ended in divorce because of this, my relationship with Holly has suffered by this.

I think there are beautiful moments. These days everybody expects that fairy tale , that you're going to be together forever with somebody and I don't really subscribe to that. I'd love that to happen if that happened, but 10 years is enough. 10 years is a good thing with somebody, I think. It's a nice thing. A lot of good love can happen in 10 years.

Choose love and don't ever let fear turn you away from your playful heart

The purpose of my life had always been to free people from concern, like my dad... How will you serve the world? What do they need that your talent can provide? That’s all you have to figure out... The effect you have on others is the most valuable currency there is. Everything you gain in life will rot and fall apart, and all that will be left of you is what was in your heart.

I've often said that I wished people could realize all their dreams of wealth and fame so they could see that it's not where you'll find your sense of completion.

Just because I rock doesn't mean I am made of stone.
