The competition in today's world of racing is so tough.

I do find it amusing when somebody cuts me off, makes an aggressive move on me in a car. I'm like, 'Do you have any idea what I do for a living? Why?'

I've met a handful of presidents, from Jimmy Carter to Bill Clinton to George Bush to Barack Obama.

Experience is invaluable. I can't express enough how much experience in this sport has helped me as a driver.

I have a lot of confidence in myself, a lot of confidence in the race team, our equipment, and as my mind plays its games on me, I just fall back on the team.

I grew up in a very simple home, a very simple background, and to be able to do what I'm able to do today, I'm very honored. I don't think I'll ever lose that perspective, and I don't want to.
