Family and friendships are two of the greatest facilitators of happiness.

If you are a leader, you should never forget that everyone needs encouragement. And everyone who receives it - young or old, successful or less-than-successful, unknown or famous - is changed by it.

Competence goes beyond words. It's the leader's ability to say it, plan it, and do it in such a way that others know that you know how - and know that they want to follow you.

What I did in the book [Today Matters] is I tried to help a person make their day - every day - their masterpiece.
