Loving God with all our mind means that our thinking is wholly engaged to do all it can to awaken and express the heartfelt fullness of treasuring God above all things.

In all the setbacks of your life as a believer, God is plotting for your joy.

I wrote this poem called “The Calvinist” to capture a glimpse of God’s sovereign intersection with the life of a sinful man. There is no part of life where the greatness of God does not penetrate deeply. I want to help you feel that.

Strong affections for God, rooted in and shaped by the truth of Scripture - this is the bone and marrow of Biblical worship.

The suffering of sickness and the suffering of persecution have this in common: they are both intended by Satan for the destruction of our faith, and governed by God for the purifying of our faith... Christ sovereignly accomplishes His loving, purifying purpose, by overruling Satan's destructive attempts. Satan is always aiming to destroy our faith; but Christ magnifies His power in weakness.

The goal of Bethlehem College and Seminary cannot be expressed with man as the end point. Christ is the endpoint.

Being infinite, God is inexhaustibly interesting. It is therefore impossible that God be boring.
