How many of us have conflicts with someone else- and how many of us pray for that person? We have individuals with whom we are competitive, or whom we dislike or have a quarrel with; but very few of us have true enemies in the martial sense. And yet if Lincoln could pray fervently- and contemporary reports indicate he did- for the people who were opposing him, how much more can we do for someone we just find a little irritating?

Talent is God given. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful.

You never want to confuse activity with accomplishment.

Helping others is perhaps the greatest joy! You cannot have a perfect day without helping others with no thought of getting something in return.

I do not want players who do not have a keen desire to win and do not play hard and aggressively to accomplish that objective.

I'm no wizard, and I don't like being thought of in that light at all. I think of a wizard as being some sort of magician or something, doing something on the sly or something, and I don't want to be thought of in that way.

Never try to be better than someone else. Learn from others.
