I don't think there's any essential difference, at least for me, between writing poetry and writing prose.

I don't think esthetic schools are important. What is important is the use that is made of them, or whatever the individual writer does.

Reality favors symmetry.

I would define the baroque as that style that deliberately exhausts (or tries to exhaust) its own possibilities, and that borders on self-caricature. The baroque is the final stage in all art, when art flaunts and squanders its resources.

If space is infinite, we may be at any point in space. If time is infinite, we may be at any point in time.
