The wise trusts not only to his physical eyes - thus he can see clearly.

Through return to simple living comes control of desires. In control of desires stillness is attained. In stillness the world is restored.

Arms are instruments of ill omen, not the instruments of the gentleman. When one is compelled to use them, it is best to do so without relish.

When you find the way/ others will find you./ Passing by on the road/ they will be drawn to your door./ The way that cannot be heard/ will be echoed in your voice./ The way that cannot be seen/ will be reflected in your eyes.

Simple, like uncarved wood.

A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving.

Sages do not accumulate for themselves. The more they give to others, the more they possess of their own. The way of Heaven is to benefit others and not to injure.
