Sincere words are not fine; fine words are not sincere. Those who are skilled (in the Tao) do not dispute (about it); the disputatious are not skilled in it. Those who know (the Tao) are not extensively learned; the extensively learned do not know it.
Ancient masters of excellence had a subtle essence, and a depth too profound to comprehend.
Tao invariably takes no action, and yet there is nothing left undone.
If you have really attained wholeness, everything will flock to you.
When men lack a sense of awe, there will be disaster.
Solve it before it happens. Order it before chaos emerges.
