Peace doesn't mean you won't have problems. It's means problems won't have you.

When I moved into one of the worst inner-cities in America to do missionary work I had to do risk assessment, and It was a risk. My family could have been in danger, house could get robbed at any minute but I count it all as nothing compared to knowing Jesus it was all worth it at the end of the day.

I've made so many crazy mistakes and done so many terrible things, I don't know. I'd just say I'm grateful for every mistake and every disappoint that I've had to experience - that I'm still loved and still cared for, that God's still here for me.

Without the cross, there's only condemnation. If Jesus wasn't executed, there's no celebration.

God is never late, we're just impatient.

Forgiving the people that hurt us most allows us to heal from the wounds they left.
