The filmmakers that I studied and appreciated growing up are the ones that are able to dictate their vision clearly to each department, and they know the language of how to communicate with each department well enough, so that their vision is clearly transferred to the screen. So I like to spend time on sets learning from all of the departments and seeing how they approach their jobs. It's not just filmmakers, you know? There's so many mediums involved. I love learning about all of the mediums.

The Goonies' is classic. That's, like, the movie I bring with me if I go out of town for a long time, because it just makes me think of the best times I've seen it with my friends growing up. Dude, everybody knows that movie, everybody watches that film. Best family film ever made.

I love movie sets. It's another home for me. Movie theaters and movie sets - they're just the best places to be. I love them.

I just don't want to repeat the same thing over and over again, so I'm always looking for something that's going to be challenging and make me nervous every time I start a project.

When I receive a new role, I completely become my character.

A lot of times I'm on my own trying to find research material and things like that and trying to educate myself on the world and the film that I'm working on.

I started doing roles and working with people that I really respected and became passionate about the art form of acting. And I'm still trying to figure it out. Still learning.
