Again--nothing you do or think or wish or make is necessary to establish your worth.

No matter what the problem, a miracle can solve it. Remember to ask for one.

You can know everything that the books have to say, but ultimately it boils down to whether we do the inner work of devotion and surrender, whether we can put aside our own agendas and allow the spirit to move through us.

I can’t say that there are “things” that make me come alive. There are thoughts that make me come alive. Those are thoughts that take me beyond myself; that remind me that there’s a bigger game going on on this planet than simply my own existence; that love works miracles, and how much we need them now.

If you allow yourself to deepen with midlife, your experience of everything deepens, including your experience of God.

If you want to end darkness you cannot beat it with a baseball bat, you have to turn on a light.

May we not succumb to thoughts of violence and revenge today, but rather to thoughts of mercy and compassion. We are to love our enemies that they might be returned to their right minds.
