Ashrams and gurukulas (spiritual schools) are the pillars of spiritual culture. If we perform sadhana according to the guru's advice, we need not go anywhere else. We will get whatever we need from the guru.

Group chanting and prayer is very powerful. It can bring important changes.

Before death overpowers us, we have great things to accomplish by performing right actions.

We should serve others without any expectations whatsoever. When others throw thorns at us, we should be able to throw flowers back at them.

May your thoughts, words and actions arise from love.

Progress is not possible without discipline. A nation, institution, family or individual can advance only by heeding the words of those who deserve respect and by obeying the appropriate rules and regulations. Children, obedience is not weakness. Obedience with humility leads to discipline.

It is man who, through his thoughts and actions, creates turmoil and disintegration in the natural, harmonious unity of the world.
