Trump's vision for America parallels greatly with the vision that Ronald Reagan used and he implemented to revive the country during a very similar time where we had a president who told us that we were in a time of malaise in the American economy and that things are just gonna be that way for a while. Reagan steps up in that great first inaugural address and says, "And why shouldn't we dream great dreams? After all, we're Americans." And the American people came roaring back, the American economy came back.

We ought to deploy a missile defense shield to the Czech Republic and Poland, which Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama pulled back on out of not wanting to offend the Russians back in 2009.

Working with President Trump closely and seeing the way he operates as a leader, he's always interested in a broad range of opinions. But make no mistake about it. We want in this administration people that share the president's vision for a safer America. For a stronger America. For a more prosperous America.

I'm going to bring my best efforts and do my very best every day to support our new president's [Donald Trump] agenda and to hopefully play some small role in making America great again.

A republic - if you can keep it - is about limitation, and for good reason, because we are mortal and our actions are imperfect.

I was raised in a wonderful family of faith. It was church on Sunday morning and grace before dinner, but my Christian faith became real for me when I made a personal decision for Christ when I was a freshman in college, and I've tried to live that out however imperfectly every day of my life since, and with my wife at my side, we've followed a calling in the public service where we've tried to keep faith with values that we cherish.

The sanctity proceeds out of the belief... that ancient principle where God says "before you were formed in the womb I knew you," and so for the first time in my public life I sought to stand with great compassion for the sanctity of life.
