People's participation is the essence of good governance.

From snake - charmers, we are now a nation of mouse- charmers. Our youngsters are shaping the world with the click of a mouse with their feats in the IT sector.

Social media changed my thought process and connected me to the rest of the world. And as I started connecting, the world started accepting me as I was. Nothing could be more satisfying.

It is important how we view the youth of our nation. To simply consider them as new age voters will be a big mistake. They are the new age power.

It is a tribute to Indian democracy that a person from a poor family, an ordinary family, is today addressing the nation from the Red Fort.

Our supreme objective is peace. Our supreme objective is to protect India's interests. We keep making effort toward that objective and sometimes our efforts are successful.

When I speak of Team India I believe that the foundation for India's development will not be the single pillar of the Central Government, but 30 pillars comprising the Central Government and all our States.
