There are so many places we have not yet seen. So many people still to meet.

Some of us claim that he was a messiah, and some think that he was just a man with very special powers. But that misses the point. Whatever he was, he changed the world.

Words save our lives, sometimes.

When I was a child, adults would tell me not to make things up, warning me of what would happen if I did. As far as I can tell so far, it seems to involve lots of foreign travel and not having to get up too early in the morning.

Dreams are composed of many things, my son. Of images and hopes, of fears and memories. Memories of the past, and memories of the future.

I liked myths. They weren't adult stories and they weren't children's stories. They were better than that. They just were.

I thought, I'm going to die. And, thinking that, I was determined to live.
