One of my theories about life is that we become what we believe.

What I know is, is that if you do work that you love, and the work fulfills you, the rest will come.

I have crossed over on the backs of Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, Fannie Lou Hamer, and Madam C. J. Walker. Because of them I can now live the dream. I am the seed of the free, and I know it. I intend to bear great fruit.

There is a lesson in almost everything that you do, and getting the lesson is how you move forward. It is how you enrich your spirit.

You are worthy because you were born.

I think that the idea of reaching young girls that are in college is something that we are strongly open to because who better wants to know how to live a more purposeful life than people who are starting out?

Keep a grateful journal. Every night, list five things that you are grateful for. What it will begin to do is change our perspective of your day and your life.
