May the World Day of Consecrated Life be a timely occasion to rediscover the centrality of Jesus in our lives.

On a positive note, we must reaffirm the right of children to grow up in a family with a father and a mother capable of creating a suitable environment for the child’s development and emotional maturity.

I believe that in pretty much every religion there is always a small group of fundamentalists.

Today, we need a Church capable of walking at people's side, of doing more than simply listening to them; a Church which accompanies them on their journey.

How many young people, how many young people of our Europe, whom we have left empty of ideals, who do not have work... they take drugs, alcohol, or go there to enlist in fundamentalist groups.

Press on! Don't let yourselves be robbed of hope. Understood?
