Jesus is God but he humbled himself to walk with us. He is our friend, our brother.

We all need to improve, to change for the better. Lent helps us fight against our faults.

Peace is handcrafted. It is made every day. Also friendship among people, mutual knowledge, esteem, is handcrafted. It's made every day. Respect the other, say that which one thinks, but with respect, but walk together.

Money must serve, not rule! The Pope loves everyone, rich and poor alike, but he is obliged in the name of Christ to remind all that the rich must help, respect and promote the poor. I exhort you to generous solidarity and a return of economics and finance to an ethical approach which favours human beings.

Those called to the service of governance in the church need to have a strong sense of justice, so that any form of injustice becomes unacceptable.

This is Christian hope, that the future is in God's hands.

As the son of an immigrant family, I am happy to be a guest in U.S, which was largely built by such families.
