The Sacraments are Jesus Christ’s presence in us. So it is important for us to go to Confession and receive Holy Communion.

I do not believe it is right to identify Islam with violence. This is not right or true.

God’s love is free. He asks for nothing in return; all he wants is for his love to be accepted.

And this is what I said when they asked me if I would accept my election as pontiff: I am a sinner, but I trust in the infinite mercy and patience of our Lord Jesus Christ, and I accept in a spirit of penance.

The Gospel calls individual Christians to live lives of honesty, integrity and concern for the common good.. to create circles of integrity.., networks of solidarity which can expand to embrace and transform society by their prophetic witness.

We too can be saints in our family, in our neighborhood, wherever we live and work. Be a person who listens to what people need, communicating not only to grieve or tell others about your own problems. Listen in order to intercede and help out.
