In mission, also on a continental level, it is very important to reaffirm the family, which remains the essential cell of society and the Church; young people, who are the face of the Church's future; women, who play a fundamental role in passing on the faith and who are a daily source of strength in a society that carries this faith forward and renews it.

An authentic faith-which is never comfortable or completely personal-always involves a deep desire to change the world, to transmit values, to leave this earth somehow better than we found it.

Do I pray that the Lord gives me the desire to do his will, or do I look for compromises because I'm afraid of God's will?

Charity that does not change the situation of the poor isn't enough.

Christ is always faithful. Let us pray to be always faithful to him.
