To love God and neighbor is not something abstract, but profoundly concrete: it means seeing in every person and face of the Lord to be served, to serve him concretely. And you are, dear brothers and sisters, in the face of Jesus.

Jesus kept his wounds so that we would experience his mercy. This is our strength and our hope.

The Gospel teaches us what Jesus' kingdom requires of us... Reminds us that closeness and tenderness are the rules of life.

REJECT ALL FORMS OF CORRUPTION THAT DIVERT RESOURCES FROM THE POOR

The fruits of this profound union with Jesus are marvelous: our whole being is transformed by the grace of the Holy Spirit: soul, intelligence, will, affections and even the body, because we are united in body and spirit.

May we always say thank you to God, especially for his patience and mercy.

To live charitably means not looking out for our own interests, but carrying the burdens of the weakest and poorest among us.
