We are not alone. We have many brothers who in this moment of catastrophe came to help. And we too, because of this, we feel more like brothers and sisters because we helped each other.

Human self-understanding changes with time, and so also human consciousness deepens.

Let us draw from the crib the joy and deep peace that Jesus comes to bring to the world.

Charity that does not change the situation of the poor isn't enough.

I think the church has to apologize not only to the gay person it has offended, but also to the poor, to women who are exploited, to children forced into labor and for having blessed so many weapons in the past.
