Sometimes we are tempted to be that kind of Christian who keeps the Lord’s wounds at arm’s length. Yet Jesus wants us to touch human misery, to touch the suffering flesh of others. He hopes that we will stop looking for those personal or communal niches which shelter us from the maelstrom of human misfortune and instead enter into the reality of other people’s lives and know the power of tenderness. Whenever we do so, our lives become wonderfully complicated and we experience intensely what it is to be a people, to be part of a people.

Let us build our lives of faith on the rock who is Christ.

He who doesn't pray to the Lord prays to the devil.

Among our tasks as witnesses to the love of Christ is that of giving a voice to the cry of the poor.

We proclaim the resurrection of Christ when his light illuminates the dark moments of our existence, and we are able share it with others

If someone is gay and is searching for the Lord and has good will, then who am I to judge him?... No one should marginalize these people for this, they must be integrated into society.

Children are to be welcomed, cherished, protected.
