I join the March for Life in Washington with my prayers. May God help us respect all life, especially the most vulnerable.
Pope FrancisEveryone is called, everyone is sent outโฆ The call of God can reach us on the assembly line and in the office, in the supermarket and in the stairwell, i.e., in the places of everyday life.
Pope FrancisLiving Holy Week following Jesus means learning how to come out of ourselves to reach out to others, to go to the outskirts of existence, to be the first to move towards our brothers and sisters, especially those who are most distant, those who are forgotten, those who are most in need of understanding, consolation and help. There is so much need to bring the living presence of Jesus, merciful and full of love!
Pope FrancisOne cannot proclaim the Gospel of Jesus without the tangible witness of oneโs life. Those who listen to us and observe us must be able to see in our actions what they hear from our lips, and so give glory to God!
Pope FrancisUnfortunately, what is thrown away is not only food and dispensable objects, but often human beings themselves, who are discarded as 'unnecessary.' For example, it is frightful even to think there are children, victims of abortion, who will never see the light of day; children being used as soldiers, abused and killed in armed conflicts; and children being bought and sold in that terrible form of modern slavery which is human trafficking, which is a crime against humanity.
