When I was a little girl, I used to try and bring sunshine to my mother. I felt so bad that she had never really seen or felt it. So I would try and catch it in jars. When that failed, I captured jars and jars of lightening bugs and told her that if we could catch enough of them, then it would look like the sun. Sheโd laugh, hug me, and then set them free and tell me that nothing should have to live its life in a cage. (Cassandra)
Sherrilyn KenyonI like that Zarek. He quality people! He even gave me a can opener so I donโt have to use my fangs. I like that. Metal is hard on the teeth. Pork and beans popsicle. Yummy! My favorite! (Simi)
Sherrilyn KenyonBeing an arrogant braggart just doesnโt work for me. (Devyn) You should try it. It really does grow on you, trust me. (Adron)
Sherrilyn KenyonWriters. For some reason, a lot of you reject what you hear and see in your heads. If you go too long ignoring it, it builds up and then you do all sorts of weird things. Mumble to yourself. Nightmares. Day-dreams. Total anarchy and chaos. Before you know it, the writer is either sitting in corner feverishly humming to his- or herself or on Prozac. Youโre not on Prozac, are you? (Esther)
