If I try to use human influence strategies and tactics of how to get other people to do what I want, to work better, to be more motivated, to like me and each other-while my character is fundamentally flawed, marked by duplicity and insincerity-then, in the long run, I cannot be successful. My duplicity will breed distrust, and everything I do-even using so-called good human relations techniques-will be perceived as manipulative.

For a parent it's called a belief in the unseen potential of a child. For all, it is the mental creation which always precedes the physical, or second, creation.

Humility is the mother of all virtues, courage the father, integrity the child and wisdom the grandchild.

Moving along the upward spiral requires us to learn, commit, and do on increasingly higher planes. We deceive ourselves if we think that any one of these is sufficient. To keep progressing, we must learn, commit, and do-learn, commit, and do-and learn, commit, and do again.

If you don't have confidence in the diagnosis, you won't have confidence in the prescription.

Live simply and appreciate what you have. Give more. Expect less.

Every person in the organization must change inside their hearts and minds, so that they themselves become principle centred.
