I write songs that are like diary entries. I have to do it in order to feel sane.

I think the reason a lot of celebrities feel insecure and want to stop eating altogether is because they see so many pictures of themselves on a daily basis. It's unhealthy how many times you see your own image - it's just constant. When you see something enough, you're going to tear it down to the point where some days you feel like you're not even pretty. I get insecure about my eyes because I once read a blog comment that said, "Her eyes are so small." I thought, Are my eyes small? Oh no - they are!

If people ask me about it, I think it would be great for me to be like, 'Look, [Kanye West] called me and told me the line before it came out. Like, joke's on you guys, we're fine'.

I daydreamed that when you grow up there are more bullies and how wonderful that would be if it were true, but, it's not.

You have to be happy with who you are and the choices you make. If you don't like yourself, you'll never be truly happy.

So there are different examples of fairy tales, and sometimes I believe in them and sometimes I don't.
