It's about giving the people what they want. So many people have told me that they've made love to my records so what I've delivered this time is an album about sex. Pretty much every song has that theme. Straight no chasers, it's booty music!

I think the Oscar So White campaign really sparked ... Because you didn't want to be the Oscars, so everybody in Hollywood was like, well, before the heat comes down. The Golden Globes diversified. Just everybody ended up diversifying as far as handing out awards to more diverse folks in Hollywood because at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what your race is. If you're waking up every day and you're doing the work, you deserve an opportunity to be awarded like everybody else.

Is Chris Rock still gonna host the Oscars after this blatant racism?? Is everyone still gonna show up??

Change your mind and it will change your life. If nothing around you changes, changes the things that are around you.

A lot of times black actors get stuck in a box. They're up against a lot of limitations for the kind of films that they get approached about. It's easy to get stuck in a box and just be approached about nothing but urban films.

In this town [L.A], I guess it takes homosexuals to be discriminated against in order for someone to finally step UP and wanna do something.

I think a fan is a fan and when they support you and when they love you and when they embrace you and what you bring to the table, as long as you bring something that's quality to the table they're going to show up and support it.
