The last book I read was the book I've been rereading most of my life, The Fountainhead.

When you're younger, you feel like work is work and relationships are supposed to be easy. As you get older, you realize you have to work at relationships to make them sustainable.

To me, more importantly, I want to make films that I believe in, that I find value in that I think folks will like.

Craziest thing I ever did for love? It's all crazy. None of it makes any sense, does it, when you're in love with someone. It doesn't make any logical sense. I guess that's why they call it being in love.

To err is human, but to forgive, well that's right on.

I think too many people look at the arts with a religious outlook. Arts, music, singing and performing, it's all make-believe.

Please don't take a turn to negative town.
