I'm motivated by fear...a fear of fear. I hate being afraid to do something.

I think my general disposition on life is finding what's funny about it. When something happens, the first thing in my mind is, "What's funny about it?"

She has got to have command of her body. So when she goes out into the world, she's going out with a command that is hers. She is used to making those, decisions herself.

The thing I wanted to focus on first was that I wanted to graduate, and (with me) coming back, I knew that I wanted another national championship. Another national championship is everyone's main goal, but we have to take it one game at a time. We can't get ahead of ourselves. We've got Washington first, then we'll see what happens.

And where I excel is ridiculous, sickening, work ethic. You know, while the other guy's sleeping? I'm working.

We think it hugely important to support young artists, there is a war against that kind of artistry, that kind of creation...When somebody is 19 years old, they're gonna do what they're gonna do just like we did... For me the most important thing was for him to know anytime he can call and I'll come whatever happens.

You can't be scared to die for the truth. The truth is the only thing that is ever going to be constant.
