If our minds could talk, they would surely complain about us

We are used to being bothered with all kinds of problems. If our minds could talk, they would surely complain about us and our tendency to grumble and dramatize.
Undoubtedly there are problems in everyone's life that are serious and cannot be overlooked or not affected in any way. But where is the line? What are those problems that are not worth putting our energy into and desponding over?
The list is long, but today we look at the main four groups of problems that are absolutely unnecessary to bother about. Here they are:
Past events
To date, scientists have not discovered a way to time travel. This means that whatever we do, no matter how much we regret something that has passed, we have absolutely no control over it. Every embarrassing, hurtful, unpleasant, and even tragic event that has already passed must remain right there - in the past. Any moments we spend regretting, worrying, angry, or sad about something that has passed are lost moments. Past events can only be useful through the lessons they have taught us. Try to remember them specifically and forget the rest, it is superfluous.
Future developments
The situation is similar to that of past events. We have no control over either the past or the future. Think about how much time you have spent worrying and fearing about something imminent. I bet none of those fears have helped you be more prepared for the future situation or know how to handle it. Don't try to paint all possible scenarios of how something will play out in your life. The possibilities are endless, so you won't have enough time, and there's no way to hit exactly what will happen. Try to focus on the present moment and be happy. It's all you really have.
What would someone think
It's a real waste of time. There are too many people in the world and they are all different. It will be hard to please everyone, even if you decide to try. It's clear that social and societal norms need to be respected, not talked about. However, when it comes to the life you want to live, you should only be guided by your dreams and goals. Thinking about how old you are supposed to get married, when you are supposed to have your first child, who you are supposed to live with, where you are supposed to live, how you are supposed to live... Don't be a slave to other people's expectations. The only person you will spend every moment of your life with is yourself. So please that person.
Things you can't change
You may be the kind of person who insists on controlling everything. For them, this point is the most difficult to fulfill. But you just have to force it on yourself. Accept that control is not in your hands and stop trying to change everything and everyone. If there's something you don't like about your life, change it. But don't expect that you can handle everything and everyone. This battle is lost, especially when it comes to people. Remember, your job isn't to change people, it's to live your life surrounded by people you like and accept. If you're not succeeding, then you're not surrounded by the right people. There is a very simple way to know if it's worth getting angry. Ask yourself, "Can I do something about this?" The answer is clear - if you can, act, if not, forget about the problem, it's not in your hands. Here you will get a bonus effect, especially if you are used to controlling everything - you will feel much more relaxed and carefree. Good luck!
