Gratitude is what we are without a story.

An unquestioned mind is the world of suffering.

As long as you think that the cause of your problem is "out there" - as long as you think that anyone or anything is responsible for your suffering - the situation is hopeless. It means that you are forever in the role of victim, that you’re suffering in paradise.

When your son is healthy and happy, you're healthy and happy. And when your son is not healthy, let's say you're unhappy.

We are never really in control. We just think we are when things happen to be going our way.

If our stressful thoughts aren't true, what does that leave? It leaves, "I am loveable" - the very thing I could never make myself believe, because "I'm unloveable" overrides it when the chips are down.
