I felt impotent and out of control, which I really, really hate. I had to find sanctuary in a place where I could gather my thoughts and regain my strength.

I never read in school. I got really bad grades-D's and F's and C's in some classes, and A's and B's in other classes. In the second week of the 11th grade, I just quit. When I was in school, it was really difficult. Almost everything I learned, I had to learn by listening. My report cards always said that I was not living up to my potential.

Would you look at that body language? Legs crossed towards each other. That is an unequivocal sex invite.

If you're waiting for someone to believe in you, you'll be waiting forever. You must believe in yourself.

Women have to harness their power - it's absolutely true. It's just learning not to take the first 'no.' And if you can't go straight ahead, you go around the corner.

So okay, I don't want to be a traitor to my generation and all, but I don't get how guys dress today. I mean, come on, it looks like they just fell out of bed and put on some baggy pants and take their greasy hair-ew!-and cover it up with a backwards cap and like, we're expected to swoon? I don't think so.

I can trust my friends... these people force me to examine myself, encourage me to grow.
