The 20th century was the century of war and blood. The 21st century is the century of dialogue.

I want to show that there are indeed some universal ethical principles which could help everyone to achieve the happiness we all aspire to.

An important distinction can be made between religion and spirituality. Religion [is] concerned with faith in the claims to salvation of one faith tradition... Spirituality is concerned with qualities of the human spirit, love and compassion, patience, tolerance, forgiveness, contentment, a sense of responsibility, a sense of harmony, that bring happiness both to self.

Nowadays, we are confronted by a huge gap between rich and poor. This is not only morally wrong, but practically a mistake. It leads to the rich living in anxiety and the poor living in frustration, which has the potential to lead to more violence. We have to work to reduce this gap. It's truly unfair that some people should have so much while others go hungry.

Generosity is the most natural outward expression of an inner attitude of compassion and loving-kindness .

I one individual human being. One of the seven billion human being. I believe each of us, our future depends on the rest of humanity.

Happiness can be achieved through training the mind.
