Use the voice that you were given. Shout what you believe in from the top of your lungs. Never let anyone quiet you.

When I look back, it saddens me to think that I was so hard on myself - when I was younger, I thought I had to look like everyone else, but I learned that beauty comes from how you feel about yourself. Once I started taking care of my mind, body, and soul, I realized that I didn't need to conform to what's "normal" and started to love myself.

My stepdad provided me with an amazing childhood. I played outside like a normal kid, I rode my bike, I walked to school, but the happiest times were when I was acting.

Life is so beautiful and special, I can't believe I ever let myself forget that

Whenever you're going through stuff, it definitely reflects in the way you wear your makeup and hair. Wearing less makeup is more comfortable for me.

When I sing or play music, I'm able to relieve myself of whatever it is that I'm struggling with.

It's my mission to share this with the world and to let them know that there is life on the other side of those dark times that seem so hopeless and helpless. I want to show the world that there is life -- surprising, wonderful and unexpected life after diagnosis.
