My stepdad provided me with an amazing childhood. I played outside like a normal kid, I rode my bike, I walked to school, but the happiest times were when I was acting.

When I look back, it saddens me to think that I was so hard on myself - when I was younger, I thought I had to look like everyone else, but I learned that beauty comes from how you feel about yourself. Once I started taking care of my mind, body, and soul, I realized that I didn't need to conform to what's "normal" and started to love myself.

Sometimes I think you'll be fine by yourself Cause a dream is a wish you make all alone; It's easy to feel like you don't need help, But it's harder to walk on your own.

When you start to beat yourself up, remind yourself of how worthy you are of love.
