Waiting is a state of mind. Basically, it means that you want the future; you don't want the present. You don't want what you've got, and you want what you haven't got. With every kind of waiting, you unconsciously create inner conflict between your here and now, where you don't want to be, and the projected future, where you want to be. This greatly reduces the quality of your life by making you lose the present.
Eckhart TolleYou are not what happens in your life. You are the space in which it happens, which is consciousness itself.
Eckhart TolleNow if a teacher gives you a practice, he or she would perhaps point out when you don't need it anymore or you realize yourself when you don't need it anymore.
Eckhart TolleWhen you are present, when your attention is fully and intensely in the Now, Being can be felt, but it can never be understood mentally.
Eckhart TolleThe word Buddha comes from the Sanskrit word Budh, meaning, to be awake. So Buddha is not a name and ultimately not a person, but a state of consciousness.
