Waiting is a state of mind. Basically, it means that you want the future; you don't want the present. You don't want what you've got, and you want what you haven't got. With every kind of waiting, you unconsciously create inner conflict between your here and now, where you don't want to be, and the projected future, where you want to be. This greatly reduces the quality of your life by making you lose the present.
Eckhart TolleWhen there's a teacher who embodies presence, then it seems to come for a while through that opening. The teacher is an opening to presence.
Eckhart TolleAcknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.
Eckhart TolleYou can have religion with spirituality. You can also have religion without spirituality.
Eckhart TolleTime isnโt precious at all, because it is an illusion. What you perceive as precious is not time but the one point that is out of time: the Now. That is precious indeed. The more you are focused on timeโpast and futureโthe more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is.
