This is a world that defines everything backwards, a world in which good is called bad, brightness is called darkness, up is called down, enlightenment is called abnormal behavior and abnormal behavior is applauded as reason.

People have power and it is very important to respect that. Everybody's had thousands of lifetimes, and who knows what anyone has learned in a lifetime ... respect not fear.

Don't become a slave to success or failure, family, friends, possessions. If these things come to you in life, enjoy them, but fix your consciousness on that which does not change.

No one cares about you. No one cares. You will die and be forgotten.

The way we measure awareness is by how long you can stop thought. If you can't stop thought at all, then you are not powerful. You might be quite evolved, but you have no access to that evolution.

If you have the sense of participation in sports or athletics, of being a player, then you are not really into the Zen mind. In Zen mind there is no sense of self in the play.
