It takes many years to become proficient in energy conservation. But it is something that happens. You get continually stronger. You see your attention field is far different than it ever was before.

The things you see are real, but they are not a complete seeing - Samsara.

As you become more aware of your own imperfections, you simultaneously become more aware of the overall perfection of the universe.

There are places where it is easy to see, places of illumination, where one moves into illumined states of attention.

Don't become a spiritual bigot. Don't feel that just because you meditate and you are striving for enlightenment that you are in any way superior to any other person. Be even. Be easy. You will last longer on the pathway to self-discovery.

Lao Tsu says the way of life is water, to be fluid.

You're going to merge your mind with the mind of eternity that goes on forever; that is not easy. It's very intense. I mean sitting on Mount St. Helens when it went off would have been small talk.
