You're looking for purity, something that just isn't all garbled, someplace where you can feel the earth again, where you can feel what the wind feels like, where you can see the stars at night, and actually, not just look at little dots in the sky, but feel an energy from them.

You have to free yourself from your mental conditioning through association with the holy, through doing good works, through meditating, through laughter, through love and through solitude.

You are a fluid metaphor for existence. You are your own death and your own rebirth. Here is forever. It never changes. We bring perpetual oblivion until we change the world.

Tantric Zen is a state of mind

The person who gives selflessly in this lifetime immediately goes into a better state of mind. That is instant karma.

To simply see a teacher to gain power is a mistake. You'll gain the power, but with the current mindset that you have you'll probably create more unhappiness for yourself than happiness.

Select companions who are striving for enlightenment. They all have their imperfections, certainly, but at least their attention is moving in the right direction.
