There is competition in Zen. Let's not be ridiculous. There is competition in everything in life; being a winner in Zen means, competing and winning in the world of enlightenment.

Every living being is psychic. Whether or not we are consciously aware of it, we feel vibrations and energies coming to us from other people all the time. The vast majority of the thoughts you think and the emotions you feel aren't your own.

The life that we see on our small planet is not necessarily a great reflection of the entire universe. The people are beautiful, but they tend to destroy one another. That's not an operative principle in all dimensions.

If you feel some tremendous pressure to do everything perfectly so you won't have a horrible incarnation in your next life - that type of fear is unnecessary. Life is not that finicky.

Love is the shortcut to meditation. Above thought is love, and within and below thought is love. Love is a ladder that we can climb through thought.

If you seek the realms of light, the best thing to do is to meditate with love and the gentle aliveness. Meditation should not be forced.

It is most important to have time alone. To be alone is not to be alone. It is only possible to truly feel immortality when we are by ourselves.
