We really have no choice in the matter. We are given a description of the world that is much more potent and much deeper than you might realize.

If we view the universe as other than what we are, we are everything we don't perceive.

The inner cry is a very good way to meditate. As you're sitting there in meditation, just cry inwardly to God, to that source, to your spiritual teacher or to a particular god or goddess.
