What makes us happy is to have a spiritual experience ... that experience of ecstasy in the deepest meditation; that's happiness.

If you respect it in others, you respect it in yourself.

The logical and extralogical exercises you do in meditation are very similar to advanced systems analysis and programming.

You might say living in a monastery cuts down the commutation time. That alone gives you a couple extra hours a day to meditate. In a monastery you lead a relatively simply life. You don't need a lot of possessions.

All things are divine. And yet, we pick and choose among them what's appropriate.

Life is beautiful all of the time. Just to be alive and perceive that beauty of life all around you and within you is the best that there is.

Happiness is not dependent on experience. What you experience shouldn't make you happy or unhappy when you know how to be happy.
