A person trying to meditate is doing something that's impossible since meditation is not an action.

The light is not quantifiable. You experience it in meditation when thought stops. When you go beyond the limitations of the ego, the light is waiting for you.

Who we are varies according to our awareness. When you are more aware, you are someone else than when you are less aware.

If you act impetuously, it will be uncertain, and you'll know it. It just won't feel right. It is better to wait.

We need a new imprinting. We need the imprinting of enlightenment, of freedom. That comes through our association with a higher being. So classically what occurs is that one meets a teacher.

If you seek the realms of light, the best thing to do is to meditate with love and the gentle aliveness. Meditation should not be forced.

I learned about the benefits and the vast limitations of such types of exploration, as did all my generation.
